Removing the Paint

I used regular paint stripper on the body.  It bubbles up and lifts the paint.  Several coats were required with scraping in between each coat.  Because I am obsessive, I removed the paint from the back of each piece as well.

All plastic trim must be removed or the paint stripping chemicals will destroy the trim.

The final chemical coat was removed using steel wool which left a shiny smooth surface.
