Repairing and Restoring the Spilhaus Clock
Assembly
These instructions show the assembly of a cleaned clock. The reverse can be used to disassemble a clock. The clock used in this example is an early model with all metal gears.
Clean and assemble the clock train, knobs, pinions, and gears. Inspect for cracks in the Nylon and if cracked, replace with Delrin from Micro Machines.
Install the first knobs and gears, adjust gear lash
Install second knobs and gears, 24 hour world time dial
Assemble cabinet and lamps
