Carriage (RRĀ·115)
CARRIAGE (RH-115) travels on bar (RH-300) and is operated by chain (RH-211X). (The Carriage has four functions: Releasing and resetting pay-off slides. pulling coins through the coin chute, resetting kick-off valves on the finish board and returning the horses to normal position).
Roller (RH-325) should be free on stud (RH-326) and the roller should be examined occasionally for wear. This roller resets the payout slides and if it should wear in one spot. It would effect the setting up of the slides and cause pay-off trouble. On the inside face of carriage you will find control lever (RH-271) which operates (RH-270) into upper, lower and neutral positions. Stud (BSV-303) should be examined for wear if carriage is not working satisfactorily as this stud holds control lever (RH-271) in proper position. If this stud should wear it can be turned with a pair of pliers and set so that the point on (RH-271) operates on a new position of the stud. If carriage jumps out of chain points on (RH-270) should be examined for wear.
