Rolling a Seven.

One car we’d like to see town on a U.S.-bond tugboat is the successor to the famed Lotus Seven. Unlike its front-engined forebear, the new car is mid-engined space-frame sports car. At the least the nose and the exposed headlamps of the cobbled-up test mule you see here look somewhat like the original, though the final shape, as suggested by the illustration, will be more contemporary. The new owners of Lotus, an Italian group called 21 Invest, plan to launch a new Seven next year, possibly at the Geneva show. Now, if we can only avoid a trade war with the United Kingdom.
