LOTUS CARS USA ANNOUNCES 2005 ELISE PRICING

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (December 30, 2003) - Lotus Cars USA, importer and distributor of the legendary British sports cars, has announced pricing for its 2005 Lotus Elise roadster. The 190-hp, 6-speed Elise will go on sale May 2004 with a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $39,985. Already lauded as one of the best performing roadsters available in the U.S. market, the Elise offers more pure performance per dollar than any other sports car in its segment.

U.S. buyers also have the option of customizing their new Elise with a Touring Pack, available for $1,350. This factory option includes a full leather seating with perforated trim, electric windows, upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3 player, interior stowage net, double insulated soft top, additional sound deadening and full carpet set. The Touring Pack provides a combination of options designed to increase comfort and convenience while still maintaining the essence of a Lotus sports car.

Another option is the Sports Pack, available for $2,480. It includes larger, lightweight forged aluminum alloy wheels, a track-tuned Lotus Sports suspension and Elise-specific Yokohama A048LTS tires. This option is ideal for those buyers who want to extract the utmost in handling performance from their Elise. ,

For Lotus Elise owners who plan to use their car in all climates, a body-color hardtop is available for $1,475.
